Just wanted to know what everyone is doing for the holidays and what it means to you. I hope to have a small family BBQ and run some barrels.. The 4th means a lot to me..... A lot of people tend to forget what this date is about... It is the day that the United States won its independence. Its America's birthday.. So even though most of the US (south) cant pop fireworks this year.. It is still a wonderful nation to live in..

Similar to aliencat, I'm going to hang out with my friends and BBQ a bit... and obviously some hardcore GAMING! I would love to see some fireworks but man, they're illegal. I understand why but aw, I wish it was allowed just for the holiday. Technically, there will be a public fireworks show later in that night though, so that's good.

I will be heading out of town for the 4th. I will bring a few friends with me to hang out with the family and stuff. Will definately be doing the BBQ thing, being part Vietnamese there will be some things not normally seen in the traditional BBQ. Head to the pool to cool down from the heat a bit and continue with the festivities throughout the night, and of course shooting off fireworks. And checking out the cities firework display. Hope everyone has a good and safe 4th of July weekend.

I am going over to my GF's parents house for what will no doubt be an awkward dinner, since her mom loves me and her dad doesnt, because he was military also and doesnt want that for his daughter... Plus he just wrote me a lengthy email a day before the invite expressing his concerns.... Oh well FREE FOOD!!! BAHAHA

Yep HAPPY 4TH ALL. Im off to Grand Coulee Dam to watch the laser show and fireworks for my first time. 75 miles hope its fun. Have fun. Be safe.

unfortunatly for my area its suppose to rain, (which actually i think it just started lol) so most of the fireworks shows were on saturday night :/ but hey LAN with my friends? yes!
