Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero Revealed as First Three Injustice 2 DLC Characters

Today, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer NetherRealm Studios revealed the first three DLC characters for Injustice 2: Red Hood, Starfire, and Sub-Zero.

All three characters will be included in the “Fighter Pack 1,” which is bundled with the Digital Deluxe Edition ($80 USD) and with the Ultimate Edition ($100 USD), which also comes with the six other planned DLC characters. So, if you’re keeping count, these are the first three of nine DLC characters. How much the Fighter Pack 1 will cost as a standalone purchase: was not divulged. Nor was a release date, as the characters “are still in development.”

For those that don’t know: Red Hood is an alias used by multiple characters and a criminal organization. Jason Todd is the most widely known version of the incarnation.

Meanwhile, Starfire first debuted back in DC Comics Presents issue 26 in 1980. You may recognize her from Teen Titans.  Then there is Sub-Zero, who if you play NetherRealm’s other fighting game, Mortal Kombat, you will know he’s one of the main characters in that series. He is also the first confirmed guest character for the game.

Injustice 2 is set to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, 2017. Below, you can check out an accompanying new trailer, which introduces the above mentioned three:

Interstellar

Interesting mix of characters.  Hopefully the PC release won't be too far behind.  Thanks
