Star Wars Battlefront 2 supports co-op on the same screen, but not on PC

DICE has confirmed that the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 will have a substantial portion of offline content, not only in the form of a full single player campaign but also through cooperative mode for up to two players on the same screen. Well, it seems that DICE is confident that PC gamers are not interested in such playing, so this feature they removed from the PC version of the game.

On the official page is clearly explained that console exclusivity, but are also listed and further details. Everything that we unlock and win in that offline multiplayer mode will be transferred to the online multiplayer, which is quite fair decision.

If we had to guess how big the demand for split-screen multiplayer gaming on the PC we would say that it is not exaggerated, but it is strange that the same game sells at the same price with one less option which wouldn`t bothered anyone on the PC.

Woah, that's really unfair. They should rethink this, drop that idea and apologize for it

I mean, does it say that coop will still be online?  Then I think its fine if its still available online.  The majority (large majority) of pc players want the coop, but dont care/want it if its offline via split or shared screen.

Err, really? on the same screen? Haven't played a multiplayer (coop or not) on the same Computerscreen since ages, and i don't think i miss that feature :)

Just a noob

You should be able to play co-op with friends online on PC, so it's not a big deal.

Ok DICE, that's not nice at all. I know that we can play online co-op, but some people really like to play games by using split screen.
