We Happy Few will get a movie version, maybe gets completed before the game

What would you say we get a movie after the game that doesn`t even have elaborated story? Think about it cause it could also happen. Specifically, as portal Variety reported, in the plan is movie adaptation of the game We Happy Few, which is currently in Early Access program.

For the presentation of the idea of forced merriment on the movie got intrigued the company Gold Circle Entertainment, which mainly works romantic comedies such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding and musical movies Pitch Perfect series.

The company dj2 Entertainment sold them the idea to which video games are popular material for movies, with the consideration that they`re working on adaptations of Sleeping Dogs and Sonic. What We Happy Few is concerned, the movie version reportedly will keep the premises posed by the game itself but will be located in the English town of the 60s in which all are drugged happy.

Even though to Hollywood are mainly attractive big budget video-games, now it is not longer a rarity that game of independent developers becomes interesting material for the movie adaptation. A similar thing happened with Five Nights at Freddy's, whose movie version we`re still waiting.
