Will there be a possibility for a fix to get the amp to work with the R4 G-Sync monitor?

I Currently have a PNY GTX 1050ti installed into the AGA, but I've been having problems with it. The AGA recognizes that the 1050ti is connected, although games such as Overwatch, BF4, and Battlefront constantly crash with a message saying that the driver or GPU has failed. I've  uninstalled my graphics driver and reinstalled them but it hasn't worked. Does anybody know what the problem is ?

Does the amplifier work with the Alienware 17 R4?

I see that "The total monitors is the sum of the number of displays supported by the graphics card inside the amplifier plus the three, natively supported, displays from your Alienware notebook."

Can anyone confirm this works on the new Alienware 13? I'd like to run 4 monitors off a 1080 in the AGA, and 2 off the laptop via display port MST hub... for a 6 monitor extended windows desktop... (Games will use the 4 off the AGA)

Well, I'll reply to my own thread now that I own this hardware... the AGA with a GeForce 1080 disables both the HDMI and display port on the laptop... I was unable to use either of these while the amplifier was connected... the FAQ should be amended to reflect this. I had hoped to use 4 on my 1080 and 2 from my laptop but I'm now forced to go back to using USB -> HDMI adapters. This was a very disappointing discovery.

On another note... When NOT using the AGA, I was only able to get 2 monitors to work off of a display port hub, 3 locked up the laptop and my only choice was to hold the power down to shut off the laptop. That said, it ran with 2 monitors attached to the display port and 1 to the HDMI along with the laptop display for a total of 4 screens.

I have a 15R1 and use it with a gtx1080 and graphics amplifier all the time - no problems at all with this setup. Works brilliantly. Just be a little careful which gtx1080 you select - some EVGA cards seem to cause problems (from what I have read here). The founders edition cards work fine and I use a gigabyte g1 gaming gtx1080 and can confirm it works great.

Is there a list of cards we know that don't work/work poorly or at least which manufacturer is known to cause issues? I really want to get an AGA but afraid the card will not work or will work but not well. the things peoples benchmarks/fps in game about the AGA vary a lot from performance looking bottle necked  to even not working or crashing.  Any information would be great! Thanks :)
